Swansea right-back Angel Rangel insists he is relishing the club's final pre-season friendly against Sampdoria this weekend.

Paul Clement's men will get one final chance to work on their tactics before next weekend's Premier League clash with Southampton.

Swansea will welcome Sampdoria to the Liberty Stadium on Saturday evening and Rangel has urged his team-mates to secure one more win.

The Swans have lost just one of their pre-season friendlies and Rangel believes it will be a perfect test with the new campaign on the horizon.

He told the club's official website: "Italian teams are always tough to play against. They usually have tough players who have experience and know how to play the game.

"I am not sure if it will be an open game because Italian teams are very good tactically and also defensively, so it will be a good challenge for us.

"It will be good to see how ready we are for Southampton.

"The boys have been working hard and I think we are ready. Hopefully there will be a good crowd at the Liberty this weekend and we will have a good reception, a good game and a good result.”
