As usual, the rumor runs in the fashion sphere. The latest: Anna Wintour's departure from Vogue magazine after more than thirty years of activity.

According to reports from the New York Post, the editor-in-chief of Vogue American could leave his post in a few months. At the head of the prestigious title since 1988, the one who is considered the "popess of fashion" could also say goodbye to her position as artistic director in the Condé Nast group.

A departure that could occur this summer, after the wedding of his daughter Bee Schaffer with film director Francesco Carrozzini, the son of Franca Sozzani, former editor-in-chief of Vogue Italy died in December 2016.

If these rumors are true, the September issue could be the last issue under the aegis of the highly respected Anna Wintour.

Still according to the New York Post, Edward Enninful, the current editor-in-chief of British Vogue, would be named as his potential successor to Vogue US.

For its part, Condé Nast has already reacted to silence speculation via a spokesman for the company: " We categorically reject these rumors." However, no further clarification was given on projects to come from Anna Wintour.
