When to consult a Web-lawyer?
For any file belonging to a lawyer in the office: divorce, litigation with an employer, a neighbor, litigation with his home insurance ...
What is won? Mostly time. The Web-consultation is aimed in particular at French abroad or those who can not travel during the day.
Exchange of emails, chat ... the lawyer is at the end of the mouse and answers with the same seriousness as if he was facing his client.
As many times as necessary, and without additional cost, if it is the same file.

Is it cheaper?
Not so much, even if some sites announce ultra-attractive rates (54 € the board instead of 100 € on average).
Often, however, this is only legal information.
No consultation. When it is necessary to dig a file, and to wait for a written report (by the lawyer), it is better to count about 400 €. Or more, if the matter becomes complicated.

Check references.
Since illegal sites are plethora, it is imperative that the name of the lawyer be cited (if he wants to follow a case before the courts).
And to be sure that the name is not bogus, we check the national professional directory ( lawyers ).

Afterwards, it is better to call the lawyer's office directly to make sure that the lawyer consults well for the site.
Finally, it avoids: sites that use anonymous lawyers, who promise free consultations, references to surtaxed numbers (0 800 ...) or Indigo (0.15 € / min).
And we always ask for a quote mentioning the mission description, the name of the professional who will follow the case, the method of remuneration (hourly or lump sum) and the schedule of payments.
The total amount known, one ensures that a consultation in office is not more interesting.
