To find out the criteria to fill a pretty red, we spoke with Julien Veuillet, director of training center Camille Albane. According to him, it is first of all to find the right red for oneself. All women can be red, finding the right warm glow. The red goes from the Venetian blond to the coppery gold, passing by the golden copper, orange or red. If it is not impossible for any woman to become red, however, you must meet some criteria to become the redhead that you have always dreamed of being.

  • Have a fair complexion to golden

Unsurprisingly, the women to whom the red seems to be predestined are those with fair skin. If you have a complexion of porcelain , some freckles or if your complexion is just golden, you will find a problem of tint of red that will sublimate you. The coppery flatter you. However, avoid the coppered walleye that may make you look sickly.

  • Thinking duet with her hairdresser to find her redhead

Julien Veuillet insists. When you go to your hairdresser asking for a red, he must ask you a number of questions and show you many pictures to define with you what you want. He must also give you his advice to choose a red that will highlight your complexion . If you have fair skin, it should rather lead you to a copper while if you have rather dull skin, it should recommend a cold copper so as not to develop too much orange highlights. Your hairdresser must be able to offer you a whole range of copper, more or less supported, depending on your complexion, but also seasons! "Camille Albane considers each client to be unique. She wants a redhead that goes to her! "

  • Be ready to maintain his redhead

To preserve its red color, it is important to maintain it! Before you start, be certain to be ready to take care of your hair by choosing gestures adapted to your new look. It is important to maintain the radiance of your red with an antioxidant shampoo. Julien Veuillet recommends using the Natural Pigma shampoo concocted to measure (depending on its color) by the hairdresser Camille Albane once a week. This care helps preserve the depth and intensity of red. Know that a copper will hold better on a brunette. The blondes must first go through a pre-coloring to find an intermediate shade before reaching a red.

  • asserting

Redheads have the reputation of being incendiary. Less common than brunettes, redheads must be perfectly comfortable. This color reveals your personality. You must also adapt your red to your overall look and haircut. Julien Veuillet recommends contrasting reds on long, degraded hair. An even coloring would not flatter volumes. Amber effects or "broux" are applied, brown at the root and points pointing at the roux. If on the other hand you wear a very structured cut like a ball cut (the famous "stone" of the 70's), you can be sublimated by a uniform red.

  • To vary its color according to the seasons

This last criterion seems to be the most important for Julien Veuillet. We do not wear the same red in winter or summer! It is important to vary it with different shades and intensities depending on the season. In winter, we put on a more sophisticated look with a roux more uniform and livelier. On the other hand, at the arrival of the spring and during the summer, one works a roux more faded, one clarifies the roux with scans or touches of light in points. Each red is unique, you must be willing to evolve, maintain and discuss with his hairdresser to find the red that sublimate you.
